Louise Enhörning (b. 1976) is a Stockholm-based visual artist working with photography, video, and installation. Her practice explores existential themes through psychology, philosophy, and art history, marked by a balance of vulnerability and strength. Using both black-and-white and vivid color, she creates an intense, precise visual language extended in minimalist installations and sculpture.
She studied at Uppsala University, Konstfack, and Umeå University, with a background in gender studies, philosophy, and analog photography. Early in her career, she specialized in lighting and darkroom work, establishing herself as one of Sweden’s leading color printers.
From 2005–2016, Enhörning lived in Paris, joining the influential Tiny Vices platform and exhibited with artists such as Ryan McGinley and Dash Snow. Her work has gained international recognition, featured in Photography of the Moment (Rizzoli) and exhibited at the prestigious Les Rencontres d’Arles (2024), Warsawa Photography Festival (2024), Södertälje Konsthall (2024), Saatchi, Loyal Gallery (Stockholm), and 0fr Gallery (Paris).
Alongside her art, she collaborates with clients including VOGUE, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Vanity Fair, and Another Magazine.
